Marc Castan founded Domaine Mămărutá, based in Fitou near the sea in the Languedoc, in 2009 and immediately converted to organic farming, now on the way to biodynamic certification!  He makes tiny lots of light, fresh wines, atypical of the warm region, all zero-zero.  

We're loving this hazy pink bubbly this time of year -- dry and lightly fizzy, with the easy drinkability of a Provencal rosé, but more fresh fruit on the nose. Its got amped red and blue berries, earth, vibrant acidity, and a touch of rustic barnyard on the finish to ground you.  NYE wine baby!
