2025 Château de Roquefort Côtes de Provence Rosé ‘SunLume’

In 1995 Raimond de Villeneuve took over this 25-hectare estate on the edge of the Bandol appellation, which had always been farmed sans chemicals (because they couldn’t afford them), and officially converted to organic farming.  Today, Margaux Gentile is the winemaker, having taken over the winemaking reins from Raimond.  The landscape is characterized by high plateaus, where vine cultivation is carried out organically (certified in 2006) and biodynamically at an altitude of 390 meters, nestled in an imposing rocky circus on terraces with clay-limestone soils.
