More about Cobelli
Cobelli is located in Sorni di Lavis, an historic grape growing area since the time of the Romans. The estate sits on the slopes of Monte Corona in the Southern Trentino region of the Alto Adige. At 150 years old, the 5 hectare estate is farmed organically by 3 brothers and their families. What is unique about Sorni di Lavis, in addition to its excellent exposition and altitude, is the unique vein of chalk that runs through the soil here and the "Ora del Garda"-- a Mediterranean influenced wind that moderates the temperature allowing for a perfect ripening of the grapes with balanced sugar and acidity.
