2021 Zajc Full Circle Cvicek

Grapes: 50% Blauer Koelner + Kraljevina, Blaufrankish, Welshriesling (AKA Laški Rizling) 
Vineyard/Cellar Stats: Organic farming, field blend of red + white grapes that ferment together; bottled unfined/unfiltered with minimal added SO2; 9.5% ABV

• Cviček (pronounced “Tsvee-check”) is the only wine in the world with a legally protected blend of local red + white grapes (besides Chianti)
• Always low alcohol (8.5-10%), completely dry, with crazy high acidity. 
• While technically a red, it looks like a dark rosé but has the weight of a white -- you can pair it with anything!  Or nothing!
• It’s what Slovenian locals drink in winter while waiting for the reds to be bottled
• Cherry berry punch with a hit of lemony acidity -- juice box for adults!
• Chilling is mandatory -- to white wine temp, please and thank you
