Organic, low-intervention, delicious Prôvençal rosé in a dreamy summery package!
Souleil is a new project from wine industry friends Marianne Fabre-Lanvin & Thomas Delaude, both of whom grew up surfing, shucking oysters and drinking rosé in the south of France. After working in wine for years, the two childhood friends began to dream about making a wine that captures the feel of an endless summer. They launched the Souleil Vin de Bonté project in 2021 with just 3 wines, sourcing grapes from organic vineyards in the Provence, all clean, classic and delicious, and with an unexpected bonus: a portion of all proceeds goes toward protecting one of the planet’s most valuable resources: our oceans!
This textbook (and gorgeous) Prôvençal rosé shines a perfectly pale pink in the glass, exuding bright acidity, saline, citrus, crunchy strawberry and a slightly bitter blood orange/Campari edge. It's got a sultry sophistication — far from the tutti-frutti style rosé you drank in college, this one is a bit more mature and refined, but can still splash around in the pool. We rarely feature Prôvençal rosé because its hard to find an example this pristine AND affordable, so lovers of this style of pink should absolutely stock up.
