Also from Sebastian of the utopia that is Front Porch Farm is this lovely, bone-dry Provençal-style rosé. 2016 was a weird vintage, with a mild winter, warm spring and cool-ish summer, so he picked earlier than usual, resulting in a more-restrained fruit profile and crazy acid. Which is how I like my rosés. You get pretty notes of melon, red fruit, white peach and Shirley Temple (without the syrupy sweetness), finishing with a huge bolt of acid. It’s clean, fresh and delicious – the perfect wine to kick off #roseallday season!
