Winemaker: Jordi Miró & Sònia Gomà-Camps
In 2007, after farming grapes for several years and selling to other winemakers, husband and wife duo Jordi Miró & Sònia Gomà-Camps started making their own wines in this little-known region 20 miles from the sea. They've worked primarily with Trepat, the native red grape, and farmed organically & biodynamically from the start -- and add nothing in the cellar. "El Petit' is their fresh, vibrant, younger vine tinto joven. Super aromatic with poppy red fruit, citrus and sour cherry, this is a lovely, lithe spring red that shines with a light chill and some Mediterranean grub. Try with pan con tomate.
