NEW VINTAGE!

In the early 90’s Ludovica Lusenti took over the family estate, started by her grandfather in the early 1900’s for growing table grapes. She converted the farming to organic and became certified in 2010. Working only with local grapes, native yeasts and little to no sulfites, she’s now making clean, classic, delicious wines in the typical style of the area (they’re big on lightly bubbly here). This unique wine gets it’s gentle bubbles the old-fashioned “ancestral method” way – one fermentation in the bottle, capped before fermentation stops, bottled un-disgorged, with spent lees left behind – a process that makes the wine a touch cloudy, on purpose. But don’t worry, it’s super clean and seductive, with aromatic lychee, peach and honeysuckle notes that suggest sweetness, yet surprises with a bone dry, zingy finish. The most perfect aperitivo wine!
