While I’ve grown out of My Little Pony, I still have a soft spot for princesses and castles. Especially if they make delicious, clean wine like this SB/Chenin blend from the Loire Valley’s Château de Rigny-Ussé which is THE castle that inspired ‘Sleeping Beauty’. Les Tetes is a project from a group of buddies who are each accomplished winemakers in their own right, but here collaborate on some natural red, white and bubbles. This wine has bright citrus and white floral notes from the Sauvignon tempered by a rich mouthfeel and ripe pear from the Chenin. Pour a big glass and enjoy wearing a sparkly tiara, glass slipper optional.
