Sean is a young guy from New Jersey who happens to come from Cali natural wine royalty - his uncle is Michael Roth of Santa Barbara County's Lo-Fi wines. He moved to Santa Barbara to work under uncle Mike Roth at Demetria Estate, where he was the then-winemaker, at age 18.  This stint sealed his love for wine, so he headed back to the SB area after college, where has been the assistant winemaker at Coquelicot Organic Estate Vineyard for 6 years and also assists with Lo-Fi wines.  In 2020 he took the solo leap and started his own brand, Disko Wines, following the natural, super minimal intervention style of winemaking he learned from the Lo-fi crew. Sourcing fruit from esteemed vineyards such as Jurassic Park, Rancho Arroyo Perdido, and Oak Savannah, all of which are located in Los Olivos, CA.,Disko is all about making fun, fresh, easy drinking wines including skin fermented whites, carbonic reds, and low ABV piquette. Nothing added or taken away, just minimal SO2 (if any) and a lot of flavor!

We love the Lo-fi wines (and guys behind the brand), so we're stoked to discover Disko wines, which are all light, fresh, and fun in the Lo-fi style.  We got the only Bay Area allocation of his three inaugural wines (all in very limited quantities), including this delicious glou glou Gamay.  Light, juicy, easy, fun punchy red juice, this is Cali vin de soif at its funnest.  Serve with a slight chill and a gaggle of friends IRL, because, you can now!
