Vineyard/cellar stats: From the highly sought after Poor Ranch (certified organic, dry farmed) where the Poor family farms their steep-sloped property with no irrigation, no chemicals, no sprinkler system, no fans for frost protection. Only their crew of livestock. Syrah and Zin are left whole cluster in separate vessels and undergo carbonic maceration for a month, then pressed into stainless and racked once to blend following primary fermentation. After 4 months in stainless, the finished wine is bottled, unfined, unfiltered, with zero added SO2; XX cases; 12.5% ABV

Spicy, fresh carbonic Zin and Syrah? Yes, please! It’s a little deeper and more structured than the average glou glou, but still super quaffable and sprightly, with a taste of that classic Zin spice and Syrah meatiness without the weight or high alcohol. Put a little chill on your bottle and it’ll have you bouncing into outer space.
